Joe Falk
Director of Supply Chain Management
Joe is responsible for following market trends and opportunities to buy, sell, and trade a wide variety of commodities to support the Biodiesel business for two facilities. Joe works closely with both facilities to develop strategies around chemical & commodity purchases and coproduct sales, along with inventory and logistics management. He oversees and maintains vendor relations to help strengthen all aspects of our Biodiesel business. Joe began his career with Hero BX in 2013 as an Operations Engineer, focusing on improving efficiencies and managing projects throughout the biodiesel process to meet business goals.
A native of Erie, Joe is a graduate of Penn State Erie – The Behrend College with a bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Joe and his wife Rachael live in Waterford, PA, where they enjoy the country living. They are expecting their first child in early 2018. Joe is “Uncle Joey” to 11 nieces and nephews and enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, hunting, being a professional bargain shopper both personally and professionally and aspires to one day live ‘off the grid.’
